Classrooms & Labs

Classroom & Lab Size

Please keep the following information in mind when requesting particular rooms.

  • RM 1216 – 21 seats
  • RM 1218 – 24 seats
  • RM 1220 – 18 seats

For classes greater than 24 you can request both 1218 and 1220 for a total of 42 seats. However, keep in mind that scheduling weekly classes in the combined room (1218/1220) is difficult. Teaching in each of the two smaller size rooms (1218 and 1220) independently is much better for classes that meet weekly.

Please see “Classroom & Lab Software” for available software. ArcGIS is only available in room 1216 with 21 seats available. Once you determine your enrollment and software needs, please send your room request to Leslie Bayonne (

If you have a software question or need other software for your class, please e-mail with the license information and the cost. If you use legacy software then you may need to arrange for a newer version.
